New video shows an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent pulling a gun on a Northern Virginia woman who was driving her car in Falls Church Monday afternoon. The agents accused the woman of trying to run them over. But the woman says she didn’t put them in danger.
Carolina Molina shared dashcam and cellphone videos of the interaction with News4.
Molina said she had just witnessed the ICE agents arrest two men in a Falls Church parking lot.
She told News4 she was in the parking lot dropping off business cards with immigration lawyers to offer counseling services.
Molina said when she passed the ICE agents, she shouted at them from her car window.
“You a [expletive]! You’re a [expletive]!” she can be heard yelling in the dashcam video.
The video shows her turn right as one of the agents stops and then returns to his vehicle. Moments later, she turns around. Then two SUVs approach, one in front and one from behind.
With her car boxed in by ICE vehicles, agents approach her car.
“Are you following us?” a masked ICE agent asks her.
“No!” she says.
“Are you following us?” the agent asks again.
“No, I’m not!” Molina says.
Molina then began recording video on her cellphone.
“Yes, you’re recording us. You almost ran us over! You almost ran us over. Stop playing!” the ICE agent says in the cellphone video. He can be seen holding a gun.
“You are so full of [expletive]!” she replies.
With his gun drawn, the ICE agent and Molina argue through her driver’s side window.
“I will arrest you. Keep it up!” the agent says.
“I’m a legal citizen,” she says.
“I don’t care!” the agent replies.
“Oh my goodness!” Molina says.
The ICE agent says again that she tried to run them over.
“Run you over when? I got recording. I got dashcam,” she replies.
Molina told News4 she’s angry with ICE but she wasn’t following them and she didn’t put them in danger.
“Honestly, I’m scared. I feel more fear now. … This situation, I feel like it was uncalled for,” Molina told News4.
News4 asked Molina why she made the comments to the officer in the first place.
“Regardless, even if I said something, I feel like that is my First Amendment, right, as an American citizen, and I don’t think it calls for this type of excessive force,” she said.
The video shows the ICE agent who drew his weapon had his gun in his hand as soon as he stepped out of his vehicle.
“Once I picked up my phone and started recording him, that’s when the story switched and he started saying, ‘It seems like she’s the one that almost ran you over. She’s the one that almost ran us over,’”
The entire interaction depicted in the video, from the time the agent steps out of the car until he gets back in to leave, lasts about 50 seconds.
Molina said after that, everyone left the parking lot.
News4 reached out to ICE for comment, and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) initially responded by asking for Molina’s video. News4 directed them to what she already posted online.
“On August 10, 2026, while ICE was conducting targeted immigration enforcement in Falls Church, Virginia, an anti-ICE agitator began to drive her car in circles around our ICE officers and then attempted to harm officers by weaponizing her vehicle against them—all in an attempt to help illegal aliens get away,” a DHS spokesperson told News4 a statement.
The statement added that the operation was targeting people who have final orders of removal from the country and who have criminal backgrounds that include a hit and run and drug trafficking.
“Fearing for their safety, ICE officers conducted a vehicle stop of the driver. Necessary background information of the driver was taken and she could face criminal prosecution as a result of her actions.”
The statement added, without providing evidence, that officers are experiencing dramatic increases in vehicular attacks, assaults and death threats.
