SCOT Tri-Nation Women 2026, SCO-W vs NL-W 5th Match Match Report, June 03, 2026

Scotland 124 for 3 (Kathryn Bryce 63, Sarah Bryce 23*, Zwilling 1-25) beat Netherlands 80 for 6 (Kalis 28, Abel 2-8) by 24 runs (DLS method)

Captain Kathryn Bryce’s all-round efforts helped hosts Scotland beat Netherlands in a rain-hit game in Edinburgh. As a result, Scotland finished as the table-toppers to win the tri-series, with three wins in four matches and one match between Bangladesh and Netherlands to go.

The match started after a lengthy rain delay, following which Netherlands opted to bowl. Heather Siegers struck early to remove opener Darcey Carter in the second over. Katherine Fraser and Kathryn then came together for a 43-run stand in 24 balls, with the duo hitting a flurry of boundaries to lift the score.

With Caroline de Lange breaking the second-wicket stand in the sixth over, Sarah Bryce then joined Kathryn at the crease and kept the momentum going. They put on 58 runs together, pushing Scotland’s total past 100. Kathryn departed for 63 off 33 balls as Scotland put up a target of 125 in a rain-reduced 12 overs.

Netherlands, meanwhile, got a DLS-adjusted target of 105 in 10 overs. Kathryn broke the opening stand in the second over with Phebe Molkenboer’s wicket, while Olivia Bell dismissed Siegers in the next over.

Sterre Kalis and captain Babette de Leede then rebuilt with a 42-run stand. With Chloe Abel breaking that stand, it left Netherlands needing 34 runs from 12 balls. But regular strikes and tight bowling meant they could only muster 80 in 10 overs.
