Country music fans are descending upon Nashville this weekend for the CMA Fest, a four-day festival that brings emerging and top artists up-close-and-personal with their biggest supporters.
For those who aspire to also look like their favorite entertainers, The Archives Nashville is hosting an Artist Closet Sale. The digital archiving and storage company that specializes in musicians’ wardrobes will be bringing pieces from 23 artists to the event, which runs from Friday to Sunday. They include Alana Springsteen, Ashley McBryde, Bailey Zimmerman, BunnieXO, Carter Faith, Ella Langley, Jason Aldean, Jelly Roll, Jon Pardi, Jordan Davis, Kassi Ashton, Little Big Town, Luke Combs, Maddie & Tae, MaRynn Taylor, Megan Moroney, Miranda Lambert, Riley Green, Russell Dickerson, Terri Clark, The Band Perry, Tucker Wetmore and Wynonna Judd.
The Artist Closet Sale will be held at Fan Fair X in Nashville’s Music City Center from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to support the CMA Foundation’s mission to provide students with access to high-quality music education and equip educators with the resources needed to sustain thriving programs.
“We’ve been blown away by the response that’s allowed us to raise over $62,000 thus far in support of the CMA Foundation’s important work, and we’re so thankful to all of these artists for being so generous with their incredible items,” said The Archives founder and celebrity stylist Tiffany Gifford. “It’s an honor to give fans a chance to own a piece of their favorite artists’ wardrobe while contributing to a cause that nurtures the next generation of musicians and educators.”
Gifford created The Archive to help artists store the vast wardrobes they accumulate over the years along with a searchable, organized digital solution to help them find pieces in the future.
But The Archives isn’t the only company selling previously loved pieces at CMA Fest. For the fifth year, Carly Pearce will host a charity pop-up, Carly’s Closet, where she will sell items from her personal wardrobe, also to benefit the CMA Foundation. That opportunity, which is free to fans to attend, will be held on the second floor of Music City Center. And anyone who makes a purchase will get access to an exclusive autograph session with Pearce. Carly’s Closet will be held Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. Central time.
