Pratika Rawal: India batter signs for Warwickshire for rest of 2026 season

Warwickshire have signed India top-order batter Pratika Rawal for the rest of the 2026 season.

The 25-year-old averages more than 47 in One-Day internationals with two hundreds and eight half-centuries from 26 innings.

She was part of the India squad that won the World Cup in 2025 but missed the final win over South Africa because of injury.

Rawal made her Test debut in March against Australia in Perth, scoring 63 in India’s second innings.

She was ruled out of India’s recent win in the historic Lord’s Test against England also through injury, sustained playing for India A in their second one-day game against England A in Taunton at the start of the month.

Rawal is set to make her first appearance for Warwickshire when the One-Day Cup resumes on 19 August.

The Bears have won five and lost five, with one no result, from their 11 group games so far.

Head coach, Ali Maiden, said Rawal’s signing was “fantastic”, external and would “only strengthen our line-up as we look to finish the season on a positive note”.
