With this card, you’ll earn 3 miles per dollar spent on Delta purchases made directly with the airline.

Which Delta credit card is right for you?

With a full lineup of Delta cards, you may wonder how to pick the best offer for your needs. While it might be tempting to go with the highest offer, you should also consider its long-term value to your wallet.

The good news is that many of these offers can be a great fit, depending on your travel habits:

Reserve: Loyal Delta flyers who want lounge access
Platinum: Regular Delta flyers
Gold: Occasional Delta flyers
Blue: Infrequent Delta flyers

Bottom line

There is plenty of value in the Delta SkyMiles program, and thanks to these current elevated offers, now is a great time to apply if you’ve been considering a Delta Amex card. Many TPG staffers prefer flying Delta over any other U.S. carrier.

Remember that American Express has a once-per-card-per-lifetime rule in place regarding welcome offers. If you’ve had one of these cards in the past, you likely won’t be eligible for a welcome offer on the same card again. Amex will also consider any Delta cards you have or had when determining whether you’re eligible for a welcome offer, as well.
