Chloë Sevigny is the unofficial high priestess of New York Fashion Week parties, and things just don’t feel right until she’s helmed an event.
On Saturday night, Mytheresa took over Café Chelsea for a cocktail party with Sevigny, who fronts their latest fall campaign.
The party took over the many rooms of the hotel’s restaurant, where guests could plop into booths and enjoy passing french fries, or mingle with a martini near DJ Jade Croo.
Coups of pink Champagne were stacked into a tower, and around 10 p.m. trays of espresso martinis made the rounds. Sevigny held court tucked into a corner with friends, while other guests including Jennifer Fisher, Fernando Garcia, The Elevator Boys, Jonathan Simkhai and Charlotte Groenveld popped by. Friends chatted social media strategies, asked each other to snap candids, and plotted game plans on how to navigate the rest of the week. After all, we still have a few long days ahead.
