As the northern aviation summer season is underway, airlines have increasingly turned their attention to the winter of 2026/2027. easyJet, which is the second-largest airline serving Europe, is no exception.
The pan-European low-cost carrier has revealed another 18 new or returning routes, with many more to be announced in due course. The latest additions include easyJet’s new longest flight ever and its shortest link that does not involve islands. All 18 routes, which were originally published by Sean Moulton on X, are now available to book.
easyJet Will Begin These Four Routes On October 25
Based on IATA slot seasons, easyJet, like other northern airlines, will switch to winter schedules on Sunday, October 25. As such, it is not surprising that all the most recently announced airport pairs will begin on or around that date. Schedule analysis using Cirium Diio data indicates that ten of the airport pairs will not be served when easyJet begins the routes. However, it’ll be different at the city level.
On October 25, the orange LCC will begin flying from Belfast International to Sharm el-Sheikh (two weekly), Bordeaux to Agadir (two weekly), Newcastle to Fuerteventura (two weekly; easyJet recently reopened its Newcastle base), and Southampton to Paris CDG (two weekly). With a great circle distance of 2,380 nautical miles (4,408 km) each way, the link to Egypt will be easyJet’s new fifth-longest route across its entire network this year.

The now-defunct Eastern Airways operated between Southampton and Paris. ATR 72-operated flights were originally to Orly, but later switched to CDG. A daily service was initially available to the French capital, but the frequency was subsequently reduced. Following Eastern’s exit, easyJet introduced twice-weekly flights from Southampton to Orly in early 2025, but it will switch to France’s busiest airport in late October. It is somewhat strange that it is doing exactly the same thing that Eastern did.
These Eight Routes Will Begin On October 26
On October 26, easyJet will jet off from Belfast International to Rome Fiumicino (two weekly), Bordeaux to Malaga (two weekly), Luton to Ljubljana (three weekly), Lyon to Nice (two weekly), Nantes to Brussels National (two weekly), Newcastle to Kraków (two weekly), Hamburg to Prague (two weekly), and Southend to Budapest (two weekly). At the airport level, most of these markets do not currently have flights. However, some do at the city level.
Notice Lyon to Nice, with train travel between those cities usually taking around four hours and 30 minutes to five hours. At just 154 nautical miles (285 km), it will become easyJet’s new 12th-shortest link. However, the 11 shorter markets are different: they all involve islands at one end. As such, this is easyJet’s shortest mainland operation. It’ll also be the carrier’s new shortest route within France. With flights on Mondays and Fridays, it is partly aimed at the long weekend crowd.

Five of these airport pairs have seen easyJet before. It flew from Northern Ireland to Rome until 2007, from Bedfordshire to Slovenia very briefly in 2020, on the short domestic French hop to Nice until 2015, between Northeast England and the ever-popular Polish inbound destination until 2009, and from Essex to Hungary until 2009.
One of the more intriguing additions is Hamburg to Prague. While easyJet has not previously served it, it has had multiple carriers in the past. For example, Eurowings flew it until 2022, while it was in the hands of the now-defunct Czech Airlines (CSA) until 2019. Lufthansa CityLine, which just shut down, operated until 2008. According to booking data, 29,000 round-trip passengers flew between Hamburg and Prague in the 12 months to February 2026, and that was without nonstop flights. It was Hamburg’s largest unserved city in Central and Eastern Europe.

Six Routes Will Begin On October 27 And 28
easyJet will introduce five routes on October 27: Amsterdam to Sal, Cape Verde (three weekly), Birmingham to Agadir (two weekly), Nantes to Essouira (two weekly), Newcastle to Keflavik (two weekly), and Nice to Cairo Sphinx (two weekly). The next day, it’ll take off from Bordeaux to Gran Canaria. None of these markets have been served by the airline before. And in the case of Nice to the Egyptian capital, no flights have existed, not even to Cairo International, at least not in the past two decades.
The most noteworthy addition is Amsterdam to Sal. At 2,503 nautical miles (4,636 km) each way, it will be easyJet’s new longest flight ever. It will exceed the distance of the current longest link, which is from Belfast International to Hurghada, by about 4%. That is not much, but it all counts. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, easyJet will leave Schiphol at 8:00 AM and arrive in Cape Verde at 12:20 PM local time (six hours and 20 minutes). Returning, it’ll leave at 1:15 PM and get back at 9:40 PM (six hours and 25 minutes). That one route will occupy an entire aircraft on those days.
