Let’s talk about today’s Wordle answer
My usual starter word is TRAIN, which I follow up with CLOSE. To me, that gets 10 of the most common letters out there and I usually am in a pretty good spot to start assembling a proper guess. But if not, I alternate between using DUMPY and today’s answer, BUMPY.
According to the Oxford English Dictionary and the story I wrote using their list, D is the 12th-most frequently used letter in English, and B is the 17th-most used. But today, I used BUMPY, and it worked!
