The Georgia Bulldogs enter the 2026 college football season with high expectations. Expects and preseason polls are all ranking Georgia in the top 10. Most rank Georgia in the top five.
Georgia has a dozen preseason All-SEC players including quarterback Gunner Stockton, running back Nate Frazier and safety KJ Bolden. The Bulldogs are counting on returning players to provide a lot of production in 2026. Georgia did not rely on recruiting via the transfer portal very much this offseason.

Georgia entered fall camp pretty healthy with the notable exception of Auburn transfer edge rusher Amaris Williams, who is out for the season with a torn ACL. Georgia is hoping to get over the hump and win a College Football Playoff game for the first time since Georgia’s national championship victory over TCU.
