What TV channel is Rams vs Chargers today? Time, how to watch, live stream

The Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers are set for a cross-town battle in their final games of the 2026 NFL preseason.

Fans should expect to see much of the starters from either side, as both Sean McVay and Jim Harbaugh have shown a preference for resting their top players during exhibition contests.

The good news? The Rams still have an exciting player on which to keep an eye. Rookie first-round quarterback Ty Simpson is battling veteran Stetson Bennett IV for the backup job behind Matthew Stafford.

Simpson enjoyed an efficient outing in his first preseason game, showing an excellent command of McVay’s offense along with the elite accuracy and ball placement that helped make him the 13th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. He didn’t play as much in preseason Week 2, but should be in for plenty of action against the Chargers.

Meanwhile, Harbaugh will be looking to see if either Trey Lance or DJ Uiagalelei can step up as they battle for the Chargers’ backup job. The 62-year-old coach expressed the race was “tight” after preseason Week 2, so this outing could decide which player gets to serve as the No. 2 quarterback behind Justin Herbert.

Here’s what to know about the Rams vs. Chargers game and where to watch it.
