War Turmoil Saps Asian Reserves With Philippines, India Hit Most


The balance of payments positions of India, Indonesia and the Philippines have weakened, in contrast to the broadly healthy situation in the rest of the region, Dhiraj Nim and Sanjay Mathur, economists at Australia & New Zealand Banking Group, wrote in a note. This has hit currencies and prompted significant forex market intervention in both India and Indonesia, they wrote.
