US Attacks on Yemen Killed 153 Civilians in 2025, Pentagon Says


Under Hegseth, the Pentagon has slashed funding and personnel related to implementation of the federally mandated Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response program. Those actions make “mitigating or responding to civilian harm more difficult,” a May report by the Defense Department’s inspector general concluded.
