These Lubbock track athletes will compete at regional meets

See the action from the District 3-5A track meet at Lubbock-Cooper

Amarillo Palo Duro’s Troy Robinson competes in the shot put during the District 3-5A track and field meet Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Pirate Stadium in Woodrow.

Athletes from around Texas will compete at regional track and field meets Friday and Saturday with eyes on a berth to the state meet in Austin.

Lubbock will play host to simultaneous meets — Region I-4A and Region I-5A — at Lowrey Field. Frenship will send athletes to UT-Arlington’s Maverick Stadium for the Region I-6A competition.
