Over the years, South Korea has cemented itself as the leader of the skincare industry, pioneering innovative ingredients, products, and trends. It’s easy to take for granted everything it’s contributed to the global beauty landscape—things like overnight masks, cleansing oils, and the “glass skin” trend. It’s even easier to take for granted the sheer number of ingredients it has popularized—ingredients that have spread Stateside and are found in hundreds, if not thousands, of best-selling skincare products.
Here’s the thing, though. In the U.S., people tend to think Korean skincare is synonymous with facial serums, moisturizers, and masks. Rarely do they consider Korean bodycare products, even though they’re just as innovative, effective, and transformative. That’s an utter shame, which is why I’m sharing 10 high-performance products to familiarize yourself with, if you haven’t already. They’re basically guaranteed to elevate your bodycare routine. Let’s go!
Aestura
Aestura
Atobarrier365 Moisturizing Body Lotion
Aestura is one of my favorite Korean skincare brands, point blank. The Atobarrier365 Moisturizer ($32)? A must-have. The Atobarrier365 Cream Mist ($24)? One of the most moisturizing face mists I’ve ever used. The A-CICA365 Cooling Relief Toner Pads ($28)? My redness-reducing summer skincare staple.
It’s no wonder I love this deeply moisturizing body lotion. Thanks to micro-fine ceramides, exfoliating PHA, and a trio of vitamin E, panthenol, and glycerin, it drenches my skin in moisture without leaving a heavy, greasy film behind. It’s one of the rare body lotions that I can apply, immediately pull on a pair of jeans, and walk out the door. Yet, the hydration stays locked in my skin all day.
Atopalm
ATOPALM
Soothing Gel Lotion
Atoplam is a wildly popular Korean skincare and bodycare brand that’s known for its incredibly gentle, baby-friendly formulas. However, that won’t stop me, a grown adult, from using its efficacious products. Why would it? They’re safe for eczema, rosacea, heat rash, and all kinds of other sensitive skin conditions.
This gel formula can be used as a lightweight hydrator and an after-sun product. It cools the skin on contact and treats it to soothing minerals from deep-sea water. It’s the #1 product I use to soothe sun-kissed skin all summer long.
Femmue
FEMMUE
Beautifying Body Butter
Inspired by the skin-strengthening, barrier-supporting, and anti-stress power of flowers, Femmue is a Korean skincare brand that infuses each product with botanicals. This rich body butter is no different. The indulgent texture melts into the skin, delivering intense moisture from sunflower seed oil, shea butter, and cacao seed butter. The soft, citrus-floral scent is the cherry on top.
Illiyoon

Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream
Here’s another Korean body lotion that I would bathe in if I could. It’s enriched with a multi-ceramide complex that’s composed of ceramides (duh), fatty acids, and cholesterol—three bio-identical components of the skin’s natural moisture barrier. It’s clinically proven to reduce skin sensitivity by up to 41%, not to mention deliver a whopping 100 hours of long-lasting hydration. And, once again, it’s so gentle, it’s even safe for newborns.
Longtake
LONGTAKE
Longtake Sandalwood Intensive Body Wash
Longtake specializes in sensorial bodycare products. This silky, dense-foam bodywash is no exception. Key ingredients like ceramides, cypress, and plant-derived cleansing agents strengthen the skin barrier, provide touchable softness, and dissolve dirt, oil, sweat, and sunscreen. Meanwhile, it’s scented throughout with “deep forest” sandalwood—a warm, cozy, and earthy scent that will make your nightly shower feel like a luxurious spa.
Medicube

Kojic Acid Turmeric Body Peel Shot
Medicube is a Korean skincare brand that needs no introduction. It’s responsible for some of the most popular products on the Internet, including the Zero Pore Pads ($19) and PDRN Pink Peptide Serum ($19). What many people don’t realize is that it also produces a small selection of highly effective bodycare products, like this brightening and exfoliating body serum.
Powered by BHA, LHA, and PHA, it sloughs away dead skin and excess sebum to refine rough, bumpy body texture and dial up brightness. Kojic acid and turmeric intensify the effects, while hyaluronic acid and ceramides keep the skin soft, supple, and hydrated. It’s a summer glow-up, bottled.

Body Scrub White Musk
If “walnut-shell exfoliator” makes you cringe and think back to a time when harsh, abrasive face scrubs were all the rage, I get it. As someone born on the cusp of the millennial and Gen Z border, I do to. However, this Korean scrub is different. It’s formulated with California walnut shell powder for a moist, “micro-scrub” foam that sloughs away dead skin and debris without causing redness or irritation. Translation? It’s gentle. That, paired with a soft white musk scent, proves this is a grown-up, sophisticated version of the walnut scrubs of yesteryear.
Sluff
Sluff is a new brand founded by a former beauty editor and based on traditional Korean bathhouse treatments. Here’s how it works. Once you’re in the shower, lather up with the Pre-Sluff Bar to cleanse the skin and remove product buildup. Then, grab the Mitt and scrub to remove dead cells and reveal brighter, smoother, softer skin. The brand promises that the friction, paired with the heat and moisture from the shower, will make dead skin cells “roll off.” Gross, yet satisfying! Once out of the shower, apply the included Eucalyptus Body Lotion for long-lasting softness and hydration.
Some By Mi
SOMEBYMI
Miracle Acne Clear Body Cleanser
Some By Mi offers an incredibly wide selection of bodycare products that contain face-grade ingredients and target towards specific skin concerns. Take this anti-acne body cleanser, for instance. It’s formulated with a trio of exfoliants: AHA, BHA, and PHA to clear away dead skin cells and unclog pores. An exclusive complex of Centella Asiatica, mugwort, and tea tree extract provide soothing relief for redness and inflammation. Last but not least, micro-bubbles absorb impurities and excess sebum from the pores. Body acne won’t stand a chance.
Voesh
VOESH
Tone’d Firming Body Massage Roller Crème
Voesh is a Korean bodycare brand that combines the principles of lymphatic drainage with high-performance ingredients for soft, smooth, sculpted skin. Take the Tone’d Firming Body Massage Roller Crème, for example. The bumpy rollers on the bottom of the bottle massage the skin to improve the appearance of tone and cellulite. Then, there’s the cream itself. It’s formulated with 2% caffeine and a potent peptide complex to support skin firmness on the neck, arms, waist, and legs. It’s brilliant if you ask me.
