GET OUTSIDE: Outdoor shoots in untamed terrains seem to be all the rage for fall 2026 fashion campaigns.
Sarah Burton gathered some of her runway models — Eva Herzigova, Kaia Gerber, Nyaduola Gabriel and Liu Wen — and they decamped to Croatia’s rugged, rocky coastline.
French writer and lawyer Constance Debré is also part of Burton’s “extended family” who contributed to the fall 2026 show, donning Burton’s impeccable, mannish tailoring for the campaign.
“There’s a directness about the women in the campaign which speaks to their personality and strength,” Burton said. “I wanted it to be purely about that — everything I design at Givenchy centers on seeing and celebrating the reality and the brilliance of all kinds of women.”
The five posed for photographer Juergen Teller amid stone beaches, concrete boardwalks, picturesque coves and makeshift outdoor showers.
Incongruously, Herzigova wears sexy swimsuits with black leather thigh boots, gold hardware glinting near the top of her legs.
Gerber clutches a version of the brand’s Pinch bag and also models some of the outsized optical frames and mask-like sunglasses.
The campaign also showcases a blouse executed in calf leather, and the embroidered, shredded and fringed floral gown that punctuated Burton’s hit fall show.
WWD opined that the British designer opened her aperture further, “letting loose with menswear fabrics, velvet, animal prints, kimono silks, lace, silver bullion and wild furry textures — orchestrating it all with a sure hand.”
The fall campaign was styled by Camilla Nickerson, with makeup by Daniel Sällström and hair by Kei Terada.
