The rare “Super Scooper” planes battling wildfires


This past week, Los Angeles County renewed a $41 million contract to keep two aerial water bombers available for fighting wildfires. The so-called “Super Scoopers,” of which there are only about 160 in operation, are world-renowned for their decades of fire-fighting. Ian Lee reports.
