First, some context. I tried the Onda Pro while I was in Korea in March 2025 during what was supposed to be an educational trip where I was studying under some plastic surgeons and dermatologists. At the end of my trip, I had one day to myself after all of my classes were completed, and I decided to treat myself and indulge in a handful of beauty treatments, as one does while in Korea. That’s when I made my Onda discovery by chance, which feels on brand for how most of my favorite aesthetic procedures enter my clinics—when I’m selfishly seeking out the best treatments for myself.

I went into a trusted clinic I had been researching for a while and asked for the best skin treatments they had. That was the mission. During my consultation, I was asked if I wanted to address anything for the body. I honestly hadn’t even thought about it. Body wasn’t on my radar. I asked what was available, and they mentioned something called their “Barbie arms” treatment. Naturally, I asked questions.
