The 43 Items It Girls Will Buy in June 2026

I’m so immersed in the fashion world that I can predict what It girls will wear before they step out. It’s almost routine: before each new season or even month, I chat with my friends about upcoming trends—whether it’s a particular bag shape, color, or shoe brand. They usually listen and look skeptical; however, three weeks later, everyone is wearing it, and my friends regret not listening when I warned them it would sell out.

June hasn’t even fully arrived yet, and I can already tell you what it’s going to look like: experimental, fun, colorful, individualistic, elegant, and polished. People are going to dress like they’re summering in the South of France, even if they’re simply grabbing drinks at Le Dive on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Black capris, or pedal pushers, will be paired with open-toe kitten heels, Bermuda shorts with oversize tees and sleek flip-flops, and sporty shorts with contrast-trim bikinis. Because it’s wedding season, wedding-guest dresses will be all about texture, color, and nostalgic appeal. Accessories are going to pop off, with a focus on big, round, retro-inspired sunglasses. Silk scarves will be worn as tops, tied around the head, and even as belts around the waist. Straw totes and clutches will be worn in unexpected ways, paired with tailored pants and leggings instead of resortwear.
