S&P/TSX composite up nearly 500 points, U.S. stocks also soar after ceasefire deal




TORONTO — Stock markets in Canada and the U.S. soared in early trading after Iran, the United States and Israel agreed to a two-week ceasefire.
The price of oil also fell following the deal that includes the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
