On the heels of her viral Gap jeans collaboration launch, Hailey Bieber once again highlighted the power of a simple wardrobe staple. She donned one of her go-to shoe styles, a heeled thong sandal, when she was out in New York City with husband Justin Bieber following the FIFA World Cup Final.

Justin Bieber and his brand Skylrk hosted an after party in New York City after the “Everything Hallelujah” singer performed during the first halftime performance at the FIFA World Cup Final in East Rutherford, N.J., where Spain ultimately beat Argentina. For the after party, Hailey appeared to be wearing a silhouette from The Row, the luxury brand’s Sacha heeled thong sandal style — one of Bieber’s go-to warm weather shoes. The minimalist black leather style, taking the flip-flop into more formal territory, features a classic thong strap, round toe and a high heel of modest width. The Row would appear to no longer carry this style, though it offers a range of flip-flop styles.

The Rhode founder paired her shoes with a Christian Dior by John Galliano micro slip dress with a silky red floral design and tonal lace trim.

Bieber has shown her love for black-heeled thong sandals on numerous occasions, often opting for a tried-and-true kitten-heel option with a square toe. Her shoe style also includes strappy mules from Saint Laurent and Paris Texas, Saint Laurent heels with an elongated pinched toe and more silhouettes. The beauty mogul was the 2026 WWD Style Awards Style Trailblazer honoree earlier this year.
