Even though I do like Avatar, I have little interest in racing as voiceless versions of them against Sonic characters. I have the pass, so I’m sure I’ll try them eventually, but it doesn’t motivate me to hop back in.
I bought the DLC pack on sale, so I don’t regret it, but I’d give it a B. The video game characters were a highlight and fit in with the Sonic and Sega cast, but I personally didn’t like the Nickelodeon characters. I’ve played the Nick racing games, so there really wasn’t anything novel about having SpongeBob or the TMNT characters again with courses that were about the same as their counterparts from the Nick racing games. Without voice acting either, they just felt off and I rarely used them. If this game gets a second DLC pass, I hope it has some Sonic characters or other video game properties.
