Olivia Rodrigo sat down for a press conference to discuss her music festival Daisy Chain Fields ahead of the fest on Aug. 28 in Santa Monica, Calif. The musician discussed the donation made from ticket sales that would be made to women-focused non-profits.

Opting for her usual feminine styling, the “Honeybee” singer donned a pair of platform Betty Mary Janes in burgundy hailing from Gucci. The deep red grungy style featured shiny burgundy leather uppers that transitioned into rounded toes and platform soles. Like any Mary Jane silhouette, short straps were situated across the tops of Rodrigo’s feet, kept in place with button-esque closures.

3 to 4 inch stiletto heels rounded out the classic silhouette. The designer style still manages to maintain that classic feel, while still feeling fresh thanks to the platform boost and witchy colorway. The Gucci Betty shoe also comes in black and a unique sage hue. Prospective buyers can likely purchase them on resale sites, given the shoes were originally released in 2011 or 2012.

Matching the feminine playful energy of her footwear, the “Vampire” singer donned a custom dress from Palestinian designer Nol Collective in pastel pink. The garment was made of a shiny fabric and featured burgundy and hot pink accents on the front. The piece also featured pink trim around the neckline and on the short sleeves.

“Daisy Chain Fields was created to celebrate the power of what can happen when we come together to support one another,” Rodrigo said during Friday’s press conference. “The organizations we’ve partnered with are doing incredibly important work every single day in the U.S. and globally. I’m so grateful to every person who bought a ticket, every artist who waived their fee, every sponsor for signing onto a brand new festival and every donation that helped get to $10 million dollars to support women and girls. I can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rodrigo raised over $10 million for women-focused non-profits.

Daisy Chain Fields is a music festival started by Rodrigo set to take place today, Aug. 29, in Irvine, Calif. The lineup consists of all female acts, including Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, Doechii, The Breeders and special guests like Stevie Nicks. 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales went to non-profits.
