If you enjoyed the performance mode featured in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, we’ve got some good news about MercurySteam’s upcoming release, Metroid Ravenous.
According to the official eShop listing, the new Switch 2 game will support 120Hz output. We don’t know if there’ll be specific modes similar to Prime 4 just yet, but at this stage, Metroid fans can at least look forward to a silky-smooth gameplay experience in the new title.
It’s already led to calls for MercurySteam to add something similar to Metroid Dread, in the event it updates the game for Switch 2. The same eShop listing for Ravenous notes how Samus’ new outing will also include amiibo support, surround sound, and HDR output.
When Nintendo shares more details about what to expect from the performance in Ravenous, we’ll provide an update.
