Here’s the latest from the lobbyist federal registry.
The First Nations of the Maa-nulth Treaty Society was registered by Ryan Adam and Summer Senter, both consultants with Wellington-Dupont Public Affairs to facilitate meetings with office holders. According to the registration with the Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying, the group wants to discuss commercial fisheries agreements to better understand relevant timelines and processes, as well as the impacts of Bill C-10, which would create an independent commissioner to hold the federal government accountable for modern treaty obligations with Indigenous peoples.
New Registrations
Since April 25, C-Pace Alliance leads all organizations with five unique registrations made on their behalf each.
Over that span, Counsel Public Affairs Inc. led all registrant groups with seven unique registrations. The next most active registrant groups were PAA Advisory, Wellington-Dupont Public Affairs, and Crestview Strategy which each had five unique registrations.
From April 25 to May 1, no lobbyists had more than three unique registrations.
