The “Folded” singer was performing as part of her “The Kehlani World Tour: North America,” in a custom gray layered outfit featuring a strapped crop top and matching utility trousers. She paired the shoes with the Nike Shox Z sneakers in the Silver/Black/Metallic Silver colorway. Her background dancers worn the same shoe style, opting for the sneaker in all white.
The retro runner shoe boasts a sleek, femme and low-profile silhouette. The Shox Z’s slim, stitchless upper sits atop a fresh take on the brand’s column design for a look that blends sporty and with a fashion edge. The Nike Shox was designed to support the stride of runners, with its original columns that provide responsive cushioning. The shoes feature matching silver laces that are woven through a low-profile, clean eyelet system that maintains the streamlined fashion-runner silhouette.

Nike introduced the Shox Z last September, describing it as an elevated sportswear silhouette that’s minimalist by design. The design pairs round-the-clock comfort with a sculpted design and playful style highlighted by iconic Shox technology and a soft, expressive upper.
“In designing the Nike Shox Z, we wanted to create a new look that can be worn to a party or around town, helping athletes feel comfortable and expressive while navigating different spaces, whether they’re low-key and casual or a bit more elegant,” says Carlos Escobar, the lead designer of the Shox Z, said in a statement about the release. “This silhouette is cool, it’s relaxed, it’s vibrant, all without trying too hard to be sporty or stylish, and it makes a great addition to any closet.”

The shoes are available in a variety of colors, like all red, burgundy, all black and more. The metallic silver colorway pair the singer wore is currently on sale for $109 on the Nike website.
Kehlani announced the dates for the tour in May, with 33 dates slated from August through the beginning of October. The R&B singer will be joined by special guests Durand Bernarr, Isaia Huron, TheArti$t and Waseel for the tour, which began at Minneapolis’ The Armory on Aug. 6. The tour includes dates at New York City’s Barclays Center and Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome, and the last stop will be at San Francisco’s Shoreline Amphitheatre on Oct. 3.
