Julianne Hough Wears Open-toe Mules to Khaite’s Fall 2026 Show

Stepping out in sandals during winter in New York City isn’t for the faint of heart. But on Saturday, Julianne Hough made a compelling case for the bold fashion move. The professional dancer sat front row at the Khaite show during New York Fashion Week, baring her feet in peep-toe shoes, most likely courtesy of the label.

Hough opted for black mules featuring a wide strap across the foot, covering up the majority of her toes. Giving off a subtle ’90s feel, the silhouette sat atop a block heel, offering more stability than a stiletto. Though the sandals-and-socks look has received the fashion industry’s stamp of approval, Hough wore her shoes sans hosiery, despite the chilly forecast.

Hough’s outfit for the show toed the line between dressy and casual. The “Safe Haven” actress kept things sleek in a tuxedo-style double-breasted black blazer from Khaite, crafted from double-faced Italian crepe. From there, she steered the look in a more relaxed direction with slouchy dark-wash jeans—this year’s denim silhouette of choice—cuffed at the hem.

The former “Dancing with the Stars” judge accented the refined outfit with Khaite’s black leather Lilith evening bag and a pair of futuristic sunglasses from the brand’s collaboration with Oliver Peoples. Last but not least, Hough wore her signature blond bob and a pink-forward makeup look.

Khaite’s show last night was awash with famous faces. Natalia Bryant, for one, attended the presentation in a black wool coat and glossy patent leather mules from the luxury label. Olivia Munn, meanwhile, arrived in a short-sleeve maxi dress, with a pair of pointy black boots peeking out from beneath the hem.
