Jimin Shines at Dior’s Morning Show Amid Paris Heatwave

Dior served up looks instead of coffee at its Wednesday show, which had been moved to an earlier slot due to the extreme heat baking Paris.

BTS’ Park Jimin managed to handle the weather in a blue velvet coat with an Edwardian air, and kept up the princely vibe by waving to fans from the balcony of the Musée Nissim de Camondo, which was modeled after the Petit Trianon at Versailles.

Throngs of fans started lining up at dawn to catch a glimpse of the K-pop star, as well as three of the five members of upcoming group Cortis and Chinese superstar Deng Wei. Balloons, banners and even billboard trucks lined the avenue.

Inside the villa, the vibe was much more relaxed, as guests mingled in the garden hoping to catch a breeze before the runway show began.

“I’m trying to be more of a morning person,” said actor Chiwetel Ejiofor of the early call time. “I’ve had my coffee.”

The British actor also reflected on the success of “Backrooms,” which has become one of the year’s sleeper hits, grossing more than $277 million at the global box office so far.

“We all were very excited about the film, and hopeful that it would connect with an audience, and it’s been amazing to see it connect in the way that it has — people are really excited about it,” he said.

After doing some filming in Cannes and bopping around the film festival in May, the cast of the next edition of “White Lotus” has now decamped to Paris to parade through the fashion world.

“We’re about to start filming. We had a bit of a hiatus while we moved [cities], and now we’re going to be here for the next couple months. It’s magical being here,” said star Alexander Ludwig.

“I’m such a fan of fashion in general,” he said when asked whether he had picked up any sartorial lessons on set. “I think in the same way that films can be an expression of the writers and directors and actors, I think fashion is a way for a lot of people to express themselves in their purest form, and I love that.”

Dressed in a Dior button-down and white trousers, Ludwig looked remarkably cool despite the heat.

IRL, however, his wife is the fashionista of the family.

“I go between shopping at Target, and then every once in a while throwing something nice on,” he said. “I gotta say, I actually love what I’m wearing, so I’ll find a way to steal these jeans.”

Will Price, who stars in Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming Sam Altman biopic “Artificial,” was among those up bright and early.

The film’s depictions of Jeff Bezos buddy Altman and Elon Musk are said to be less than flattering. Despite expectations of an awards-season run, it was reported last week that the project had been dropped by Amazon and is now being shopped to new distributors.

So what is happening with the film?

“Above my pay grade,” Price joked. “Beats me.”

“But I love working with Luca, I think he’s a genius and he’s one of the great directors of our time and so I’m really excited for people to see the movie. It’s gonna be special,” he said.

Despite the early hour, Price said he had embraced the morning with coffee and room service before heading to what he described as one of his favorite Dior show locations yet.

Dior still held on to its traditional second slot, staging another show at high noon. The only celebrity on that guest list was Mick Jagger, who opted for the later presentation rather than the early call time — staying true to his rock ’n’ roll image.
