Call of Duty’s The Haunting brings even more Halloween fun to Black Ops 7 and Warzone this week with the start of the Doom crossover event. This limited-time event will allow players to unlock Doom operator skins, themed decals, loading screens, and a new special weapon for the season. In this guide, we’ll showcase all Doom rewards in Season 6 and how you unlock them.
Doom limited-time event details
Call of Duty’s Doom event runs from now until October 14. This adds operator skins and cosmetics themed around the Doom franchise. This works just like the previous Nicolas Cage and RoboCop events with both free and paid event tracks. While there are plenty of free Doom rewards to earn, you’ll need to purchase the paid “premium” pass for 1,100 CoD Points ($10) if you want to unlock the iconic “Doom Guy” as an operator.
This is one of Call of Duty’s XP-based events, so you’ll simply need to grind XP across multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone. Unfortunately, the event doesn’t list how much XP you need per reward.
For multiplayer, playing the objective in modes like Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, and Domination work best, while Casual Resurgence should yield more XP for Warzone. For Zombies maps, try to focus on solo runs with the Rampage Inducer active to speed up the slower early rounds. The Vandorn Farm map is a great pick, as it requires very little setup.
A double XP weekend will arrive the day after the Doom event begins, but if you miss this opportunity, you can always make use of any double XP tokens you’ve collected.
Additionally, a Doom-themed shop bundle will arrive sometime during the event. The Tracer Pack: Doom Demonic Essence focuses on the villains of the franchise, and they are paired with a trio of weapon blueprints, a finishing move, and other cosmetic items. A price isn’t given for this, but Call of Duty’s IP bundles are typically around $20.
All Doom event rewards
Call of Duty’s Doom event has 20 rewards in total. These include 10 rewards in the free pass, and 10 more optional rewards that can be unlocked with the paid pass. The highlights of the free pass include two operator skins for existing operators, the mini Doom Guy weapon charm, the Demon Slaughter loading screen, and the new Roc 20mm special weapon.
As mentioned previously, the paid pass is required to unlock the iconic “Doom Guy” as an operator as well as the Doom Slayer variant skin. Other high-tier rewards include the Evisceration finishing move, shotgun blueprints, and the “Crucible” blueprint variant of the katana melee weapon.
You can acquire the following rewards in the free track at various XP milestones:
