Though we often dream about holidays by the Med or escaping to the countryside, there is a magic to existing in a city throughout the summer—including the summer-in-the-city capsule wardrobes you develop whilst living in a particular place. These are unquestionably stylish and distinctly different depending on the city you live in. Every locale has its own unique way of doing fashion, and making outfits work when faced with scorching temperatures. But with these style perks of city living come difficulties, too.

There are the sweaty commutes that feel even longer during heatwaves. The battle to find peace (and places with air-con) amongst the never-ending stream of tourists. The smaller living spaces, which often mean there’s less room for new wardrobe additions. Still, though these things may be present, they’re merely considerations for the city dweller.
