Grandma fought for bill to allow happy hour in Minnesota senior homes


Anita LeBrun wanted to drink a glass of pinot grigio with her friends at their retirement home.

She was a regular at the facility’s semiweekly happy hours, but she thought it was ridiculous that they were dry. Minnesota law prohibited retirement homes from serving alcohol without an additional license.
