Figure skaters complain of damaged blades from Olympic podium


On X, figure skating analyst Jackie Wong, who’s in Italy for the Games, said Chock and Bates, who competed in the rhythm dance segment of the pairs competition on Monday, and team technician Mark Ladwig spent an hour “getting the nicks out” of their blades, likely using “a stone to hone the edges.”
