Eva Longoria put a velvety touch on the red carpet in Cong Tri at the 2026 AFI Lifetime Achievement Award Tribute to Eddie Murphy in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
The actress and director turned to the Vietnamese designer’s spring 2026 collection, wearing a black gown with a plunging neckline and playful fabric contrast. The “Flamin’ Hot” filmmaker’s look featured thin straps and a bodice evocative of 1990s minimalism.

A velvety fabric was used to craft the bodice, transitioning to a flowing chiffon style beneath the hips with an asymmetric bent. To augment her dark look, Longoria added a single black glove with feathery detailing for added textural elements.
As for accessories, Longoria wore the Kayan double strand necklace by Anayah jewelry and a white gold diamond statement ring by Effy jewelry. Glam for Longoria’s red carpet look featured her hair worn down with soft waves and her makeup highlights included bold brows, lined eyes and a glossy lip. The actress’ look was curated by stylist Maeve Reilly.

While Longoria’s Cong Tri spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection selection favored a ’90s minimalist design, several pieces from the couturier’s eponymous label’s curation included elements of fringe throughout, a motif that appeared on several designs.
Florals also appeared in the collection, along with subdued colorways of black with a few pops of vibrancy in yellow. The collection catered to dresses that offered retro elements with a modern bent toward edgy contemporary designs.
