CME Plans to Launch Wind Derivatives for US, Europe, Australia


For energy market participants, including utilities, wind farm owners and hedge funds, standardized, exchange-listed contracts are faster and simpler to use, said Nicholas Ernst, managing director of weather markets at BGC Group. He said the CME had discussed its new derivatives with him, along with others.
