Capcom expresses continued interest in ‘re-activating IPs’ as the first new Onimusha game in 20 years surpasses 1 million sales on launch day



Samurai adventure Onimusha: Way of the Sword notched over a million sales on its launch day, Capcom has announced.

The success is deserved, per our reviewer Wes, who said that Way of the Sword “whips ass” in his 83/100 review. (And if the demo had you worried that it wouldn’t be much of a challenge, Wes says not to fret too much: “I died plenty, particularly to bosses that ruthlessly punished my poor parry timing or overeager button mashing.”)
