VALCOURT — BRP Inc. raised its full-year guidance as it reported a loss of $136.8 million in its latest quarter, compared with a profit of $57.1 million a year ago.

BRP’s normalized result for the quarter amounted to a loss of 18 cents per diluted share, compared with a normalized profit of 92 cents per diluted share a year ago.

Revenue for the quarter totalled $2.24 billion, up from $1.89 billion in the same quarter last year.
