Best Prime Day Deals on Yoto Players and Accessories

There’s a lot of toys in my house, and most of them I would (lovingly) refer to as crap. But one of the coolest toys I have for my almost four-year-old is easily the Yoto.

The Yoto reminds me of a Walkman, but if a Walkman was cute and square and used audio cards instead of CDs, and had a built-in speaker if you didn’t want to use headphones. It makes for a great screen-free way for kids to listen to age appropriate content, and you can even make your own card like you’d make a mixtape back in the day. It’s a great device and travels well, whether it’s just keeping your kid entertained for a long drive or coming on a flight with the family, and both versions—the larger Yoto Player and the petite Yoto Mini—are on sale for Prime Day.

Both devices are great. It’s similar in some ways to the popular Tonie Box (which is also on sale), but I hate how hard you have to hit the Tonie to change the song or story. It almost feels like unless I try to break it, it won’t trigger. The Yoto is much more intuitive to adjust the song or volume with its dial controls.

There’s tons of cards you can purchase with songs and audio content for kids of all ages to enjoy. My son loves his Super Simple Songs and Moana cards, but you can find content for just about anything (or make it yourself with customizable cards). You can also score some starter sets that give you a Yoto Mini and a couple cards, like this little kids bundle for $76 ($19 off) that includes preschool songs and relaxing music cards, and big kids bundle for $76 ($19 off) that has five-minute stories and more informative cards.

I’d also recommend snagging some on-sale accessories, too. There’s cases and jackets for both models, and you can also get cases to hold the cards, which is a huge help; I’m constantly finding cards I thought I lost around the house.

On-Sale Yoto Cards and Accessories

Here’s a few accessories and cards I’ve got my eye on as a Yoto owner. Yoto has a summer sale on its own site for its cards and accessories, but there’s more third-party accessories on sale on Amazon for Prime Day.
