Before doing anything else introduced in FF14 patch 7.5, I beelined it to the Calamity Salvager to free up inventory space with the new dye system

I’ve always felt inventory space was the most valuable thing in Final Fantasy 14, and in the wake of patch 7.5, that’s never been clearer for packrat players like me. I’m sure you know the type—those of us who can’t stop shoving ceaseless amounts of garbage we know damn well we’ll never use into precious, limited retainer storage.

My army of retainers can hardly keep more than a handful of free inventory slots available at any given time, but thanks to the 7.5 update, that’s less of a problem. Now, I can at least unburden my one item mule that was drowning in thousands of multicolored dye pots I totally, most definitely, absolutely needed. You know, just in case.
