Bahoz Dara Aziz leads Sports Minister’s communications team; Khushi Shah joins MP Chi Nguyen’s office

We’re starting this week’s Hill Movers in the sports minister’s office.

Bahoz Dara Aziz is the now director of communications for Sports Minister Adam van Koeverden, with an immediate focus on FIFA.

A seasoned political strategist and crisis communications, Aziz previously held communications roles for several ministers, including Marc Miller, Gary Anandasangaree, Sean Fraser and Patty Hajdu.

“I love working on big projects and with good people,” Aziz told iPolitics.

Aziz also worked as a senior consultant at the Navigator between 2025 to 2026.

Over at the House of Commons, Khushi Shah is now a member’s assistant to MP Chi Nguyen.

Shah served in several policy adjacent roles. Prior to joining Nguyen she was the program assistant to Women in the House, an initiative started by the MP 25 years ago.

In a statement sent to iPolitics, Shah said she is looking forward to working with MP Nguyen and for the constituents of her riding.
