American Airlines’ AI Is Rebooking Passengers Onto Later Flights Without Asking Them



American Airlines is seeing increasing backlash over the mistakes of its relatively new artificial intelligence booking software. The program is designed to make it easier for delayed travelers to catch connections when their initial departure falls behind schedule. In some cases, however, it’s been changing itineraries erroneously and creating headaches for flyers.
