Amanda Seyfried went for a head-to-toe Miu Miu ensemble while in attendance at Miu Miu Women’s Tales, an event hosted during the 2026 Venice Film Festival. The designer occasion, hosted on Sept. 5, was also attended by the likes of Zoey Deutch, Emma Corrin, Amelia Dimoldenberg and Cailee Spaeny, among others.
Dressed for the occasion, the “Mamma Mia” star sported a pair of satin mules hailing from Miu Miu. Retailing for $1,170, the all-black style featured glistening satin black uppers that transitioned into open, rounded toes with thick straps. 3.3-inch tapered heels give way to cushy gray insoles and a backless design that made getting into and out of the shoes a breeze.

Both straps, which sat across the tops of Seyfried’s toes, were affixed with embroidered Miu Miu logo detailing, making for a subtle branded moment. If black isn’t your thing, the satin silhouette also comes in metallic hues that read like copper and bronze. The shoe also covers a majority of the foot to protect from the elements, despite the open toe. This is another detail that makes mules a perfect transitional piece.
Mules are a great transitional piece to have in your wardrobe, especially as we approach fall. The open concept offers a breezy finish while a black or bronzy colorway translates to fall vibes easily. Seyfried’s shoe rotation often features styles from either Miu Miu or Aquazzura. The actress is partial to loafers, pumps, sandals, and, on occasion, athletic sneakers. No matter the brand, Seyfried’s picks are often colorful and playful, featuring textural aspects and/or a fun buckle detail.

Accompanying her Miu Miu footwear, the “Mean Girls” actress was styled in a boxy pink slip-style dress, also from Miu Miu. The baby pink style was made of a sheer, breezy pink fabric and featured crystallized spaghetti straps that gave way to frindgy crystalized trim that decorated the hem. The dangling bits created movement, texture and shine. The fringy detailing and fit of the garment were almost flapper-esque, imparting a retro vibe. Going simple on the accessories, Seyfried wore a pair of simple pearl earrings.
