Zendaya brought a Parisian-inspired “bixie” to the Louis Vuitton fall 2026 ready-to-wear presentation during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday, where she sat sandwiched between the French fashion house’s chief executive officer, Pietro Beccari, and LVMH chief executive officer Bernard Arnault.
The “Euphoria” star’s chocolate brown hair was curled and chopped well above her shoulders, with the longest layer meeting her chin. The style — a matured, 1960s heroine interpretation of the Gen Z-adored cut — was likely the work of hairstylist Ursula Stephen, the same visionary who brought her bixie to life in Louis Vuitton’s 130th anniversary campaign for its Monogram canvas this past February. WWD has reached out to Stephen for confirmation.

Originally popularized by first lady of New York Rama Duwaji, the bixie is spring’s hot new hair trend. The hairstyle, also known as the “Rama,” is described as a “modern precision bob,” with messy layers and natural movement throughout. “The shape is tailored with soft graduation, so it frames the face without heavy layers throughout the crown,” celebrity stylist Antonio Velotta previously told WWD.

Unlike Zendaya, Duwaji prefers her bixie with a side of finely cut bangs and wavy ends. The gradual fringe is what separates the “Rama” from the French bobs and hybrid pixies, said hair artist Marcos Diaz. “It’s broken and slightly irregular, which gives the haircut its lived-in, modern feel. The perimeter is intentionally soft, avoiding bluntness, so the shape feels organic rather than rigid,” Diaz explained. “The cut sits close to the head with subtle internal texturizing to keep it light without removing structure.”
Gracie Abrams put her own spin on the ultra-short aesthetic at the Chanel spring 2026 couture show during Paris Fashion Week in late January, gelling her newly trimmed dark brown layers behind her ears.

Zendaya’s fashion week appearance comes just over a week after her longtime stylist, Law Roach, claimed she and Tom Holland secretly tied the knot. Roach not-so-subtly hinted at such during a red carpet interview at the 2026 Actor Awards. And while neither Zendaya nor Holland have confirmed the news, the former Disney star wore a gold band stacked under a diamond ring on Tuesday at the Louis Vuitton show.
