75 Dolphins 2026 draft targets in 75 days: WR Jordyn Tyson

For years, the Miami Dolphins had one of the NFL’s most dynamic receiving duos with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Now that’s set to change with Hill almost certainly set to play elsewhere in 2026.

If the Dolphins aim to pair Waddle with another talented player at the receiver position, it’d be hard to find a more exciting addition than Arizona State’s Jordyn Tyson.

Tyson, who is the younger brother of Cleveland Cavaliers first-round pick Jaylon Tyson, was a breakout star in 2024 and entered the 2025 season as a favorite for the Biletnikoff Award.

While he put up prolific numbers in his time on the field in 2025, a nagging hamstring injury slowed him in the latter half of the year and kept him out of four games. Still, the 6’2 receiver provided more than enough highlights to leave most convinced he’s the most dynamic pass catcher of the draft class.

Fit for Miami

During his introductory press conference, new Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan said that building “infrastructure” on the roster will be a priority.

“We’ve all seen teams that go about it, maybe in a questionable manner and you get a really good player at quarterback, but he can’t stay healthy because he’s getting killed or he doesn’t have anybody to throw to,” Sullivan said.

While offensive line will be a priority, it’s hard to imagine the Dolphins will be OK with going through the offseason without upgrading a receiving corps that only has Malik Washington, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Tahj Washington, and Theo Wease Jr.

Is it a problem that requires a first-round pick to fix?

The Dolphins may not want to invest that significantly at a position that already has a star in Waddle. But Tyson, who is widely expected to be a top 10 pick, may be too good to pass up if he’s on the board at No. 11 overall.

Bottom line

Tyson is a do-it-all receiver with the speed and precision to get open and stretch the field, and the athleticism and hands to win a one-on-one jump ball.

The main concern about Tyson is a history of injuries that caused him to miss games in all four of his collegiate seasons.

Ultimately, though, the Dolphins likely won’t get a chance to consider Tyson. If he’s on the board after the top 10 selections are made, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Miami decided to begin another era of dynamic duo at receiver.
