The summer of sports programming may be winding down, but its influence on 2026 fashion trends is just getting started. Sporty pieces like soccer—excuse me, football jerseys, functional footwear, and wraparound sunglasses have become staples among the fashion set. But one brand in particular continues to stoke interest in this athletic aesthetic: Adidas. I can’t cross a street in Brooklyn without seeing the iconic three-stripe logo in someone’s outfit. I have no doubt that fashion people will continue to embrace the brand’s trending track apparel and sneakerinas well into fall. To shop my favorite new styles in these two categories, keep reading.

Track Apparel

I’d argue that athletic apparel has seen the inside of more sports bars than gyms this summer—especially adidas track shorts. I’ve seen these styled with T-shirts, button-downs, and even frilly blouses. As the weather cools, you can continue participating in the trend by layering up with any of these track jackets. My personal favorite is the Chinese New Year Jacket ($150) if you’re curious.
