We talk a lot about wedding-guest dresses, and more specifically, how to find the perfect one for the upcoming nuptials on your summer calendar, but there’s one item that’s even harder to source: a formal (but versatile) bag to pair with them. Formal bags tend to be quite boring and stuffy. That, or they only work for black-tie occasions, meaning that the cost-per-wear is extremely high. What you want is a purse that can just as easily be styled with a wedding-guest dress as a pair of vintage Levi’s and a T-shirt or a low-key linen skirt and tank top. On Friday, Kravitz, along with most of Hollywood’s elite, gathered at Madison Square Garden to watch Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tie the knot in arguably the biggest wedding since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot in 2018. For the occasion, the couple’s guests took various approaches to dressing, with Kravitz going a very cool route, opting for a long-sleeve beaded dress with a knee-length hemline, vintage-looking chandelier earrings, and minimalist black heeled sandals. (Others, like Dakota Johnson and Karlie Kloss, took a more traditionally formal approach, wearing a little black dress and a gold, strapless gown by Tove, respectively.)
