Women’s T20 World Cup – Pakistan bat against Netherlands; bring in Eyman Fatima, Tuba Hassan


Toss Pakistan chose to bat vs Netherlands

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first against Netherlands in Bristol. In the final group game between the two already eliminated sides, captain Fatima Sana acknowledged at the toss Pakistan had not played their best cricket this tournament, vowing to be more attacking today. Pakistan made two changes, leaving out the struggling Aliya Riaz. Rameen Shamim also sits out, with Tuba Hassan and Eyman Fatima coming in.
Netherlands captain Babette de Leede struck an upbeat note. “Today’s the day we get our first win,” she said. “We have really good game plans today and we have played last on this ground.” Netherlands made one change, with Heather Siegers coming in for Myrthe van den Raad.

Both sides are yet to register their first win of this tournament.
