Why Trump’s ‘flood the zone’ economic policy approach is concerning

President Trump’s latest wave of policy proposals is supposed to address growing US affordability concerns, including a 10% cap on credit card rates and a ban on institutional investors from purchasing single-family homes.

Sahm also served as a Federal Reserve Board economist and is the creator of the central bank’s Sahm Rule recession indicator.
