What will Khomeini loyalists do if the Iranian regime falls?


If IRGC factions decide to wage war against a western-backed regime in Iran, Pakistan would be the anvil where the hammer would fall.  But if, after losing power, regime loyalists decide to melt away or can’t find any regional or international sponsors, Pakistan could cash in on the new stability in Iran by forging an economic and security partnership that could stretch from Istanbul to the Indian Ocean, anchoring the entire Middle Eastern land mass.
