Warsh declines to comment on Trump and defends the rate hike


Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh said the decision to increase interest rates for the first time in three years was “the right decision” to ensure stable prices and declined to comment on a message to US President Trump, who had been pressuring the central bank to cut rates.
