In the past few days, the popular basketball video game NBA 2K has been revealing the overall ratings of the top 100 players in the 2027 edition of the game ahead of its September release. To this point, 2K27 has counted down from No. 100 to No. 30, but only one Golden State Warriors player has been listed.
That player was Jimmy Butler III, who came in at a tie for No. 44 with an 85 overall rating. This is two points lower than his mark last season, as he entered the 2025-26 campaign with an 87 overall rating. Butler III’s highest-ever rating came ahead of the 2023-24 season, where he was given a 95 overall.

Although a January injury ended his season prematurely, Butler III was still impactful in his age-36 season, averaging 20 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.2 blocks in 38 appearances. Although an injury return date is yet to be set, reports have indicated that Butler III is targeting Christmas Day.
