This match will be the third time the two stars have faced off in a Grand Slam final, following their meeting at the 2023 Australian Open and earlier this year. Today’s clash has added intrigue with Rybakina having grabbed Sabalenka’s No. 1 ranking earlier this week after her quarterfinal victory over Olympic champion Zheng Qinwen.

Belarusian star Sabalenka staked her place in a fourth straight US Open final after a convincing straight-sets win over the USA’s Jessica Pegula. Kazakhstan’s Rybakina booked her spot in today’s showpiece showdown by also seeing off US opposition, having edged past Coco Gauff in a gripping three-set victory.

Sabalenka versus Rybakina is set to start at 4 p.m. ET local time (1 p.m. PT) on Saturday at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York. That makes it a 9 p.m. BST start in the UK, while the action gets underway for viewers in Australia at 6 a.m. AEST on Monday morning. Here’s how you can watch the match with a live TV streaming subscription.
